Hi I'm Parker

I was born and raised in Arizona. I love sports and currently am dabbling in natural body building. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my beautiful wife Jershon for just over four years and was sealed for her in the Mesa Arizona temple. We had our first child in December of 2010, a perfect little girl and she has changed my life for the better. I'm a sports junky and love playing, watching or even coaching sports; especially football. I am currently attempting to take my passion for physical fitness to the next level and compete in natural body building. I am currently working on finishing up my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with the goal of becoming a police officer.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed with the opportunity to have been raised in the gospel of Jesus Christ and have been Mormon all my life. While I had this blessing it doesn't mean that I didn't have to come to a point in my life and decide if I wanted to continue with that. In my early 20's I chose to rebel a bit and strayed away from the truth I had known. What I found was unhappiness and confusion. What I'd thought were restrictive and binding rules that the LDS Church adhere to I quickly found were guidelines that when followed were actually liberating and joyful while contrarily living what I'd thought was "free" led me to misery and and constricted life. I've found that while everyone has agency, each decision and choice we make while using that has a consequence that cannot be escaped. I know that living the gospel of Jesus Christ allows me to truly have the freedom I desire and the happiness that is desired for me from my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

While far from perfect, I strive to live my faith daily and do so by my actions. I do my best to be kind to others regardless of their viewpoints or beliefs and to live as an example of how Jesus Christ lived. I have served a mission to the Colorado Denver South Mission to help let others know of the blessings that our Father in Heaven has for them and of the love He feels for them. I currently am a Sunday School Teacher for 13-14 boys and girls and love the opportunity I have to share my life lessons with them and to learn from the insight they posses. I also enjoy the opportunity I have to sing in our ward choir. I'm proud to say that my younger brother is currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Calgary Canada mission and I couldn't be more proud of him.
