Hi I'm Larissa

I'm a native Coloradoan. I'm a first-time mom. I'm a college graduate. I'm a homemaker. I'm an avid reader. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading historical fiction, romances, and cookbooks! I love to bake...especially anything that involves chocolate. I am a speedy typist and I enjoy desktop publishing. I have an amazing husband and a beautiful daughter! I love being a wife and mother and delight in the simple joys of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; it is my foundation and I would be lost without it. Having the gospel in my life gives me direction and a sense of purpose. I love having the knowledge that life is not over once we die and that it can continue with those we love. Every day I am grateful that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me and wants the best for me. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer and that He knows first-hand the challenges, heartaches, pains, and illnesses that I experience. I know the Book of Mormon is true and that I can become closer to my Savior by studying and learning from it. Having a living prophet on the earth today is an amazing blessing; it is just another confirmation that our Heavenly Father knows what we need. I appreciate the associations I have with the members of the Church. I have moved around a lot in my life and I know that wherever I go, there will be a group of people ready to welcome me with open arms.

How I live my faith

I actively participate in my church and I love to serve those around me. I love to sing in the choir and during congregational hymns. It is in these sweet moments that I feel the love of my Heavenly Father and of my Savior the most. I love singing praises and bearing my testimony to myself and everyone around me through music.
