Hi I'm Jeffrey

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated dental school in Indiana and moved to Colorado start work. I love snow and water skiing and enjoy mountain biking. My wife and I both love the outdoors and are excited to be near mountains again. We graduated from BYU before moving to Indiana for four years to attend Indiana University School of Dentistry.

Why I am a Mormon

Through prayers I have come to know Heavenly Father. I always wanted to be led by the Holy Ghost in my areas and I finally realized that if I want Heavenly Father to communicate with me I had better pick up the phone, so to speak, and sincerely pray to Him, to converse with Him. In spite of my imperfections Heavenly Father sends me myriads of blessings and gives me the chance to grow. The Book of Mormon is one of the keystones of my testimony. It was the first step I took to building my own solid testimony. When I was fourteen years old, my advisor challenged me one Sunday to be a man of integrity and ask Heavenly Father to know the truth for myself, so that I would be able to say “I know…” He also encouraged me by saying that I already had integrity, but to take it one step further and have integrity in all things. I took the challenge and will never forget the burning in my chest that I felt at my bedside on night in response to my questioning and the amazement I felt as the Almighty God answered my prayer. After years of studying and learning about the Gospel of Jesus Christ at Church, in Sunday School and serving a mission teaching the Restoration of the Gospel I understand the intellectual part and its’ scriptural foundation, but the more powerful witness I have is this prayer. No one can ever take it away from me; it is a gift that I received from Heavenly Father. Some of the most spiritual experiences of my life have been during my daily personal study of The Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

The standard set by the Savior to "be perfect" is hard to achieve, so I try and be a little bit better everyday. I work on being a better disciple of Christ by learning about Him in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I pray daily to have the strength to always choose the right and be a good example. I especially try to be a better husband, friend and neighbor.
