Hi I'm Judy

I grew up on a farm, attended a Baptist Church in Southeastern Colorado, I have conservative views and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a loving husband, wonderful children, grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. I'm truly blessed, I admire them all for their strength and integrity. I fell in love with genealogy at a young age and continue that passion today. I love helping people learn about their ancestors. I also am a die hard patriot and conservative, we must always be aware of what our government may or may not be doing. Keeping them accountable for our rights as citizens of the United States of America. VOTE and God bless America!

Why I am a Mormon

I couldn't believe all the turmoil and angst of asking questions at my church and being told only God knows. I was searching when the missionaries knocked on our door. After the missionaries gave me the lessons I learned that Heavenly Father can speak to us today as he did in the scriptures of old. That is an amazing feeling to know that we have a living prophet today who shares God's word with us. I know that Jesus Christ was the son of our Heavenly Father and is the head of our church. I believe Joseph Smith was a prophet of God as is Thomas S. Monson who is our prophet today. I know that Heavenly Father sent his beloved son to die on the cross for my sins. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and goes hand in hand with the bible. I know that if we study our scriptures and pray we can handle whatever life throws our way. I also understand that our Father in Heaven loves us and his will prevails. I love the gospel and being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I love being a Mormon and a Christian.

How I live my faith

I struggle with anxiety but force myself to attend our church meetings. The payoff is knowing that Heavenly Father loves me and strengthens me to participate. For awhile now I've been having some health issues, low and behold here come the sisters to clean my house. It's a very humbling experience, so hopefully soon I'll be healthier so I can also help someone in need. We're a close ward which is truly a family in every sense, we love and care for one another. I love each and every one of them, we work together, we study together, we pray together, and we serve one another as well as our friends, neighbors, and community. It's truly a blessing and a gift from Heavenly Father to be a Mormon.
