Hi I'm Candice

I am a photographer, a mother, and a friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three beautiful children, whom I love and can’t live without. The greatest part of my day as being mom is when my little girl looks at me and smiles beautifully, just warms my heart. I love answering questions my oldest daughter asks because she wants to know everything there is to know. I am a wife of six years, my wonderful husband and I met shortly after our missions. He served in Georgia and I served in California where his family lived at the time. He is the love of my life who treats me like a queen and a daughter of Heavenly Father. I love my family and my in laws; I can’t really live without them. My son is an imaginative child and my explorer who constantly reminds me I don’t always have the patience I want to have in life. I am also a photographer who loves people and capturing their precious moments. I love photographing children and families when they are being themselves. My constant dream is to have all three of these in my life. I decided two years ago to continue my education, I received an Associate’s degree in Photography right after high school but now I am back getting a business degree. I have a busy life but I wouldn’t really change that for a single thing.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon! I didn’t always feel that way but as I have studied and grew up spiritually it has changed my life for the better. I was in college when I discovered my love for the LDS church. Every time I walk into a church building I feel at home, there is always love in those buildings no matter where you are. The semester right before I graduated I felt the desire to serve my Lord and Savior and spread the joy of the Gospel of my Heavenly Father to others. I feel the love of each person around me and I want to show this love to everyone. I know there was a 14 year old boy named Joseph Smith who saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, who also organized the Church of Jesus Christ on the earth again. I know there is a Prophet on this earth who gives us guidance from Heavenly Father. The most comforting part of being a Mormon is knowing my little family will always be together even after death. I also know my Savior and Lord Jesus Christ suffered and died for my sins so I can repent and return to live with my Heavenly Father. I am not perfect but the Lord makes the difference.

How I live my faith

I try to live the LDS faith everyday in my life. I want to be a good friend and family member. I try to serve the community and give back to those who have helped me. I am open to talking to anyone who needs an ear, or a shoulder to lean on. I love making people smile and laugh whenever they need. I have helped teach the children, there is nothing better than having a 4 year old tell me about sharing and loving their friends and families. I light up every time my two year old son sees a picture of Jesus and tells me who it is.
