Hi I'm Amanda

I'm a scrapper. I have a degree in Music Education. I'm a wife & a mom. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom with lots of hobbies! I love to scrapbook (I'm a scrapper), knit, do crafts and spend time with my family. I have a degree in Music Education and hope to someday teach pre-K music in my home.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS/Mormon family and relied on the testimony of my parents for much of my life. However, there comes a time, even in the life of a member of the church, that conversion has to take place and you have to develop a testimony of your own. I gained a testimony of the church little by little as I obeyed the commandments and lived the teachings of the Book of Mormon and our modern-day prophet and apostles. I continue to live the gospel each day of my life by reading my scriptures daily, praying daily, and striving to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I continue to see blessings flow into my life as I do the things I should and keep my relationship with my Savior strong. Living the gospel brings nothing but happiness into my life even in difficult, trying times. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

There are opportunities to serve others in the community as well as in the church. In the church I have had the opportunity to work with children ages 18 months-3, teaching them the gospel through music! I couldn't ask for a better, sweeter opportunity to serve. In the communituy I have participated in many service projects through the church such as cleaning community parks, putting together hygiene kits for people who suffer from natural disastesr, and Christmas caroling at a home for the elderly.
