Hi I'm Chase

I work full time and go to college. I recently married a beautiful girl. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work cleaning pools while I finish my college degree. My wife and I love to go camping and off-roading in the mountains to get out of the desert heat. I also like to make home movies and go on adventures with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have seen the blessings that come from living the gospel in mine own life as well as the lives of my family and friends. I know it to be true because I put it to the test and feel the love that my Heavenly Father has for me. My faith increases everyday that I continue to obey the commandments of God. Everything I am taught makes sense to me, and I am taught to pray to God so I can receive my own testimony that it is true.

How I live my faith

I have many opportunities to live my faith through the interactions I have with people I know at church and elsewhere. At church I work with children ages 8 to 10 in the Boy Scouts of America program. Because Scouting supports religious involvement I get to teach boys all kinds of life skills while at the same time teaching them gospel principles such as being honest and faithful in their daily lives. My wife teaches and leads music at our church meetings and teaches small children in Primary classes. I always carry a copy of the Book of Mormon in my car, and I give them to people that express interest that I am Mormon. I feel that giving them a copy is the best way for them to understand what I believe. I work hard and strive to live by good moral standards, because the way I live is the best expression of my faith.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

One of the most important doctrines to me is that families can be together forever. I want to be with them for more than the few years I spend on earth, and I know that it is not only possible, but guaranteed as I live in accordance with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Being with my family forever is the greatest blessing I could hope for. Show more Show less
