Hi I'm Chris Steadman

I'm a Mormon, I have been married for 4 years to my wife who makes me incredibly happy, every single day since she said "yes"!!

About Me

I am a Dad of a beautiful 3 year old little boy who keeps me busy, stressed, smiley and loved!! My hobbies probably include surfing when I am in CA & Snowboarding where there is Snow ;) I am a huge film buff, love the indie selection and used to love going to the Sundance film festival!! Date nights are the best ever here in AZ, the nights may be warm but the jazz clubs are filled and the music is sooo bluesy!! Another hobby of mine which I enjoy is reading the scriptures, and more importantly The Book of Mormon, I study this daily, whether it be on my smartphone, the computer, or my scriptures from when I served my mission in Japan!! I teach elders quorum twice a month & enjoy sharing my testimony and learning from the amazing priesthood elders that attend!!

Why I am a Mormon

At 8 yrs. old I was baptized into the church by my dad, since then I have grown to love the morals and values that the church stands behind, its great to have standards!! I have met and lived around some of the most incredible mentors from the time I was a deacon and onward to becoming an elder. My faith and testimony has little by little increased and has brought me closer to the gospel and I believe led me to find my incredibly beautiful & amazing wife! Why am I a Mormon? Because being anything else never brought me more joy, more love or more compassion than the surroundings of a religion that encompasses, a higher level of living and a way of life mapped out to perfection.

How I live my faith

Every Monday evening, we Mormons set aside time to be around our families to share a brief church lesson or activity w/ a treat at the end ;) this is called FHE or Family Home Evening, this is one way that we can start the week of on a high note! Part of being Mormon is living a lifestyle that may differ from how the world may run its daily activities. A testimony is a personal faith based knowledge of Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, how we have come to know him through the gospel and the scriptures that testify of him. I live daily to know more about the gospel, through the faith that I have it can only become stronger and shared more abundantly!
