Hi I'm Alan

I am a Dad. I have 4 wonderful little boys and an amazing wife! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In my family I am the youngest of seven children. I am also a twin. We grew up in southern California. I had the greatest childhood I think a kid could have had. We were not wealthy so I was taught how to work and be happy for what we were blessed to have. I got involved in the sport of water polo and swimming in high school. As a team we went on to win some big championships. I was named an all-American water polo player both in high school and college. I have a business degree that is almost completed. I am currently taking a few more classes to complete it. I have been married for almost 6 years. Within these amazing 6 years my wife and I are blessed to have brought 4 amazing little spirits into this world. We have all boys and with that said our lives keep getting more interesting and better every day!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I owe my life to this Church! Without the restored gospel in my life I know that I would not have received the divine direction in life that all of Gods children seek. The instruction I receive on a daily basis from this church helps me understand where I stand in Gods plan. This allows me to be the type of Father that I know my Father in Heaven expects from me. My wife and kids are the most important thing to me besides my love for my savior Jesus Christ. Through the atonement of Jesus Christ I know if I have faith in Him and repent of my sins daily and follow him I CAN return to live with him and God for eternity with my family.

How I live my faith

I live my faith to the best ability I know how. I am not perfect nor is anyone else perfect except our Brother Jesus Christ. I live my faith by reading his words and following his commandments. Knowing why and how Christ lived a perfect life gives me direction and a purpose. I love him with all my heart and everything I do is because of that love. When I let him into my life and accepted him it was as a light came on. This light has allowed him to mold my character. This in turn allows me to be the best example I can be to my wife, my children, and those friends and strangers I come into contact with everyday. To know that they too are a child of our Heavenly Father and have chose to come to earth just as I have. Everyday my faith teaches me why I am here, what is my purpose for being here, and also where we will go to in the next life with those we love!
