Hi I'm David Ellingson

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Alberta, Canada where I was baptized at the age of eight. I served a mission in England, Manchester.

About Me

I am married to Kim and we are the proud parents of three children, Nate (16), Lizzy (14), and Andy (12). I am a biology teacher at WeBSS on Woodburn High School campus. We have been living in Woodburn for 15 years and love the area. I like to climb mountains, scuba dive, and visit historical sites. I served a mission in England Manchester and went to BYU and Oregon State University. Our family loves to watch and play sports, especially baseball, basketball, and hockey.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that were members of the Church. I grew up a Mormom. I didn't realize why I was a member of the Church until I had read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it was true or not. I didn't recieve an answer for a few years. I learned that by contiunally reading and praying, I would find answers to my questions and learn what God wanted me to do. I have found joy and happiness by being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I belong to the Woodburn 1st ward. I am a ward missionary, which gives me the opportunity to visit ward members and help share my testimony of missionary work.
