Hi I'm Natalie

I grew up ski racing. I love the outdoors I still love to compete and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a psychology graduate from Colorado State University that now stays at home with my 3 kids and teaches fitness classes in my spare time. I love doing things that are active and making good use of my time. I love to spend time with my family and go out and explore as we hike or just go on walks. My kids love to ride there bikes next to me as I run so they can stay active too. I love to have movie nights with my family and eat popcorn and candy. When I was about 24 years old I discovered that I love to bake, especially cinnamon rolls. Both my husband and me are young at heart and really enjoy working with the youth and watching them make those choices that they need to make. I have always lived by mountains, but would love to one day serve a mission in New York City and then some area by the ocean!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the church and was baptised when I was 8 years old. My testimony at that time was very simple as I grew older and experienced many more things my testimony grew in some areas at certain times and then would grow in other areas during other times. The great thing about a testimony is that it is ever changing. The hard thing is if you don't nourish it, it will dwindle away. At the age of 19 I decided for sure that I never wanted my testimony to dwindle. I have been serving the Lord ever since. I have so many tremendous blessings because of my choice. I feel a sense of accomplishment in my callings, I know I have a purpose here on this earth and I now get to raise my children in the church. I am so grateful for the guidance parents receive for their children. The world is hard and dark, but there is so much light within the church.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving with the teenage girls, ages 12-18. I am in charge of this program and feel such a blessing to be around such amazing girls. My testimony is strengthened every time I am around them. They are so strong and so willing to share the gospel with their friends. I know I was not that brave at their age, but I know get to find ways to strengthen them and help them prepare to take on their days. I also serve as a visiting teacher and get to converse with amazing women who teaches me so many things.
