Hi I'm Logan

I'm married. I'm just starting med school. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into a Mormon family. I grew up in the Church, served a mission in Brazil, and Graduated from a Mormon university with a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology. I've worked as a mover, a roofer, a vending machine guy, a library helper, a tutor, a pest control technician, and several other things. I'm a student doctor, learning to become an osteopathic physician. I enjoy reading and playing games of all sorts (card, board, video, sports, etc.).

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the Mormon faith by my parents at a very young age (days old, really). However, I'm still a Mormon because I have spent a good deal of time discussing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with my Heavenly Father, and through His Holy Spirit, He has made known to me His will, and His will is that I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ as taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As I have lived the principles of the Gospel, I have received great blessings that act as confirmation to me that I am doing the will of God. I have seen how this Church changes the lives of those who follow the precepts taught here. I'm not a Mormon because my parents were Mormons. I'm a Mormon because I know it is what God wants for me, because He loves me.

How I live my faith

I recently moved, so I am attending church at a different location than I have for the past couple of years. Before I moved, I was responsible to teach the other men in the ward I attended about principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I absolutely loved doing this. It allowed my to re-familiarize myself with the foundation of the Gospel. I would also visit other Mormon families in the area and offer help and share messages with them. The most important thing for me is to actually live my faith. I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that I can receive salvation by following His examples. He did not spend all of his time proselyting or preaching. He spent is time helping others and teaching by service and example. This is how I try to live my life, as well.
