Hi I'm Anna

I grew up in the hot, hot desert of Arizona. I'm a mom of four, a wife, a musician, a teacher and a friend. Also, I'm Mormon.

About Me

I am a working mom of four small kiddos just trying to make the best life possible for them. My husband and I work hard to keep our family close. We love to take family vacations which usually end up being inexpensive camping trips, or visiting relatives out of state, but the kids love it and we have fun. While most of my time is spent either working or running kids to various activities, I like to sew and craft and play my violin or piano when there is the time and/or motivation. On the weekends I enjoy date night with my man, or renting a RedBox movie.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that Joseph Smith was the prophet of the restoration. I believe that the Book of Mormon is a true witness of Jesus Christ along with the Bible. My ancestors from Sweden and England heard the gospel and were converted. My family has been blessed by such a strong and valiant heritage. Although I have had my trials of faith, I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. He is my advocate to the Father and I have experienced great joy at knowing that I am doing what I should to earn my reward in Heaven. He gives me strength to make the moral decisions I need to keep our family together and happy, when though I feel inadequate and small.

How I live my faith

I have made commitments to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He needs me. I have been blessed to have overseen the children's program of our ward. This included a nursery class for little ones and regular Sunday school for ages 3-12. I also got to work with the young boys in their cub scouting. Just being around the sweet innocence of those children has strengthens my knowledge that God loves all. You can see His love in their eyes and their excitement to hear gospel stories and learn about Jesus. Although I was already busy with my own family and job, I felt blessed by God in my efforts to serve those little children. I was able to to get all the important things done, that needed to be done. I probably sacrificed a little TV or some sleep at times, but it was definitely worth it as I felt the Holy Spirit testify that these children were loved by my Heavenly Father, and that He loves all His children, including me.
