Hi I'm Kraig

I'm a Mormon. I'm an Engineer and a father of three.

About Me

I have been a drummer since I was in 6th grade. Before that I would walk around the house tapping on things and beating out rhythms. I have always wanted to be a drummer. I have also had an interest in electronics. I am also a stamp and coin collector. As a boy scout I earned all of these merit badges as well as my eagle scout award.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members of the LDS church so I was born in the church. From my youth they taught me the basics of the gospel. Although, there comes a time in your life when you have to know for yourself whether or not the things that your parents have told you are correct. I can tell you now that there are ways to find out what the truth is. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to know the truth. He loves us and has put the restored gospel on this earth and has given us modern prophets to help lead and guide us through the perils of today. God has not forsaken us.

How I live my faith

I serve as a clerk for the local ward or congregation. I take care of many of the non-ecclesiastical details (ordering supplies, keeping records, computer instruction, etc) that are needed to run a ward. I have had responsibilities in the past which has required me to serve members on a more personal level. Both types of service is enjoyable and I get much satisfaction from my church service.

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Kraig
I believe that I will continue to exist after death. I know that God loves us and has provided a way that we can eventually become like him. He was with us before we were born and he was the perfect example of what we can become. Coming to the earth and gaining a body is just one step in that process. Death is just another step. I believe that we can inherit everything that our Heavenly Father has promised us. I am uncertain why anyone would want to believe in anything less. Show more Show less
