Hi I'm Cory Whittle

My home state is Washington. I've lived in Arizona and reside in Colorado. I've been married for 26 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently work in the foodservice and logistics business. I have three beautiful children, a son and two daughters. I love my wife, my children, and they make my home life complete. This year our family traveled to the East coast to visit Washington DC, Gettysburg, Philedelphia, and Baltimore. We enjoyed visiting our nation's historical sites. I also enjoy working on my home, cars, and being outdoors. In 2007 I had the opportunity to be a navigator, with my neighbor, the car owner and driver in the Great Race. The Great Race is for classic cars in a controlled speed endurance race. The race began in Concord NC, ended in Anahiem, CA. The race took two weeks and we drove on mostly two lane roads across the southern states in a 1957 Chevy Belair. The Great Race, then 25 years old, was Great Fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my whole life. I've always known the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. At an early age, it felt very comfortable and right. I served a proselyting mission in Arizona. This opportunity taught me the value of service and more importantly a convincing knowledge of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World. I know my Redeemder lives! He is the reason we live and learn. Our families are eternal, not just while we on live on earth. This is why our life choices are so important.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the youth in my church. I help with youth activities and outings. I live my faith by being a good father and husband. I want my children to know I have a testimony of the gospel by my example. I've never had an alcoholic drink or used tobacco. There's no need for it. I like root beer floats instead. I live in a great community, with wonderful neighbors. I serve with the Board of Directors for our community water district.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Cory Whittle
Mormons are members of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We believe the Bible to be the word of God. The Bible teaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Prophets and Apostles who testify of His existence. We could not be called Christians if we did not use the Bible to learn about our Savior's life and teachings today. Show more Show less
