Hi I'm Jill

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife and mother of 7 young children. You might think that 7 is a lot of kids, but I am the youngest of a family of 12 children- so I am used to a lot of family! Being a mom is the best part of my life, and I give it all I have. I start my day early with a little run and end my day late with a lot of laundry! The rest of my day is full of teaching, loving, laughing, and being with my family. I received a degree in communications and am active in politics and my community. I work especially to teach children and parents the importance of internet safety, parenting in a digital environment, and the dangers of obscenity online.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because living the teachings of Jesus Christ gives me peace and happiness everyday. When I was 12, I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it was true. God gave me the feeling that I was reading truth. It has been many years since I had that experience, and as I have done my best to live the Book of Mormon's teachings everyday and implement them in raising my family, I feel that peace and happiness in my home, in my marriage, and in my heart.

How I live my faith

I start every morning with prayer and scriptures and keep a prayer in my heart through the day! I repent, forgive, and try to do better. I try to love others and see people as God sees them. I love to teach children the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music, story, and example. I teach teenage girls to how to set goals and reach them and how to have Christlike attributes in their daily lives.
