Hi I'm Jackie

I love to be outside, read, and be with family & friends - and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a military family. My dad was in the Air Force and thus moved our family to many different locations. I have lived in several states, Japan, and Germany. Moving around a lot made me appreciate other cultures and created a love for traveling! I would love to go back to Europe someday and travel to other continents. My life and world is my family. Moving to other countries (away from grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins, ect.) made my family grow closer and learn to rely on one another. No one can brighten my day better than my family! I love them so much and am grateful for how they have shaped me to be the person that I am today. I graduated from BYU-Idaho, April of 2010, with a B.S. in Health Science. I am currently working as a case manager for adults with disabilities and I love it! They have taught so much about love, patience, kindness, and so much more.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because of the way the gospel makes me feel. I have had several experiences where the spirit has borne witness to me that the things I was learning were true. I feel happier when I live the things I am taught and when I attend church. I know that the Atonement of my Savior, Jesus Christ, was for me and you. I know that because of His sacrifice, I can be given the opportunity to repent, be forgiven of my sins and most importantly, change! I love the way I am uplifted each week as I attend church and I always feel ready to take on another week. All the people I associate with at church, are such good examples to me and are constantly encouraging me to become the best person I can be. I can think of no better company to be in.

How I live my faith

I live my faith as I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I can think of no better way to live my faith than to be in the service of others. It's by comforting, loving, and uplifting others that I feel closet to my Father in Heaven and to Christ.
