Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a wife for fifteen years, a mother for nine and an aspiring pastry student for the past year. I love nature, music, art, poetry and books! Finding a balance in my life is a constant struggle but I wouldn't have it any other way. I also have a great love for people. I tend to view each person I meet as a glorious and one of a kind work of art.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was eight years old but I was eighteen was when I became truly converted. I had just moved away from my parents’ home and I realized that I wasn't sure of my beliefs and opinions of such matters. I spent several months studying other religions, both Christian and non-Christian. Before each study session as I sought to verify my beliefs, I would pray to God to help me know and see the truth myself. After several months, I realized that certain teachings I found in other religions that resonated in my soul as "truth” was also pieces of the gospel of Jesus Christ as it had been taught me. At this point, I received a powerful witness that The Church of Jesus Christ was Gods' only true church and that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob was the only living God. I realized that I had been blessed to have been taught the fullness from infancy and have devoted my life from that moment on to living and improving upon that testimony. Through all of the tribulations I've faced, I have also found this same Spirit of witness there to strengthen, comfort and uphold me and I have never been left wanting.

How I live my faith

I seek to embody my religion in how I act and what I say each day. I'm not perfect, but I know that others notice something different in me that draws them to me, As a wife and mother, I try each day to utilize the opportunities to nurture my family in the gospel by studying the scriptures with them and praying with them as well as on my own. I spend time each month reaching out to other women in my congregation sharing gospel messages and friendships with them.
