Hi I'm Harvey

I was raised as a Mormon. I grew up in Salt Lake City, and now live in Colorado. I have a strong testimony of the Church.

About Me

I am a son, father, grandfather, and husband. My wife is a member also, we have been married for 44 years and we have 7 children, 3 daughters in-law and 3 sons in-law. We have 19 grandchildren, 10 granddaughters and 9 grandsons. This keeps us pretty busy most of the time. I have owned my own business and have found it to be rewarding. I am currently working with one of my sons in his business. My interests have been flying, building anything, inventing and family. My current interests are family, building anything, inventing and family history. I love to garden and take care of my home and family. My father and grandfather would be proud of my gardening efforts. I am grateful that some of my children are developing gardens and a love for the earth and what it can produce. I love to get my wife to make me zucchini brownies.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church and have come to know for myself that Jesus is the Christ and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is his Church. The Church was restored by the Prophet Joseph Smith and there has been a living Prophet on the earth since.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my life with integrity. I have found that the greatest gift a father can give his children and his spouse is the gift of example. To be the type of man I want my sons to be; and the type of husband I want for my daughters – this is the compass I try to follow. I am far from perfect, but there is great satisfaction when I see my children continue with the traditions, patterns and morale decisions I have established in my life and in my home, and then to know, as a result, they are happy.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?
