Hi I'm Mike Erekson

I build football fields and running tracks all over the US. I am a Husband, a Father of 4 boys and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 15 years and have loved every moment of it. I have 4 very active boys. I love the outdoors especially fly fishing and biking and backpacking. I am the VP/Senior Project Manager in a sports construction company and travel a lot. I build synthetic turf fields and running tracks throughout the U.S.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. I am grateful to have grown up in the church and have been raised to love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have learned at a very young age the meaning of life and strive to follow the teachings of Christ each and every day. Being a Mormon brings me joy.

How I live my faith

I have a strong love for the youth in our church. Ever since I have been married I have been involved with the youth. I have been in many leadership roles in scouting and in church that are centered around the Young Men. I love teaching, mentoring, encouraging the youth, especially the Young Men to be good examples and prepare themselves for missions. I want them to succeed. I start my day out each morning with prayer both personally and with my family. I like listening to church talks and the scriptures on the way to work. It starts my morning out right. Each week, as a family, we get together and have family night. We teach our boys the gospel standards. But most importantly we take time to be together. I go on weekly "Dad's" night with my boys when I am in town. At the end of each day we have family prayer and read the Book of Mormon as a family.
