Hi I'm Michelle

I live in Colorado and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read, watch movies and go to concerts and performances. I love to travel and explore new places with my husband. I love animals, particularly my cat and dog :) I love to learn and work and am enjoying my career.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised mormon. I always felt my church was true and had never felt the desire to find faith elsewhere. This is not to say that I wasn't exposed to other religions/beliefs growing up. In fact, most of my friends were of a different religion and I had the opportunity to attend their religious services and learn of their faith. In my late teens I earnestly sought to obtain confirmation of my testimony by reading the Book of Mormon. I had read the scriptures throughout my life, but it wasn't until after I was in college that I read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover. The night I finished reading, I prayed and knew of it's truthfulness. I have read the Book of Mormon many times since then and each time I read from it, I become more and more sure of my faith. I love my church. I love that it is the same all across the world. I love that it is centered around the family. My family is the most important thing in my life. The opportunity to be with them for time and all eternity is such a tremendous comfort and blessing to me. I can't imagine the heavens without them. I love that my church is lead by a true prophet that provides it's members with guidance and modern day revelations. I love the members of the church and the service we give one another.

How I live my faith

I love living my faith. I have received many wonderful opportunities to serve and share in my faith. I currently help lead and organize church programs for the young children. I get to help teach them, sing with them and watch them grow. I have also been able to work with the Youth in my ward teaching them, organizing group activities, dances and other programs to help them grow in their faith.
