Hi I'm Jinaquin

I'm from Texas I was raised around the country I'm a professional ballerina. . . .love renaissance festivals and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Like Patrick Swayze and his wife Lisa Niemi, I'm from Texas and am a professional ballerina. Dance is more than a healthy career, it's my life; it's who I am. I teach little ones to do it and always hope it spreads to their parents and siblings. You don't have to be great at dancing and listening to the music to enjoy the feeling. . .but that's why I teach so those will feel better about how they're moving. I'm not one to always be found in the studio though. I also love out door sports, animals, and look for farmer markets on occasion. God must have created these things on mother earth for us to enjoy, it's our responsibility to take care of it all. So, I do! I'm a recycler, animal lover, and have to take road trips on occasion to see the beauty this earth possesses. Another thing I'm fascinated with are renaissance festivals. . . . yes, I'm a geek at heart about it but after working at my mother's shop at The Texas Renaissance Festival for a few years, I was hooked! It's another fun filled organization I support and escape into when the season rolls around. If you ever work a season there, the gratification of what we have today is nearly indescribable. . .but the people I've met keep me coming back. Therefore, I love living and meeting people.

Why I am a Mormon

Though the church is extremely organized, and who is in charge of what with what title can be complicated, everything it preaches is simple. There were friends who told me I had it all and to slow down, enjoy it. I wanted more out of life! In which the gospel fulfills that part of me. I was raised in the church and as I grew older questioned the beliefs but when I prayed for the truth, man did come. I applied the gospel to my life and it brought peace, understanding, as well as a comfort to know that our savior relates to our everyday trials. That Jesus and a spirit will guide us to the right path, if you let him. It humbles me to be a part of a plan so divinely awesome. God wants us to come home when we've done what we can here. That's a sacrifice I look forward to.

How I live my faith

I didn't sacrifice two years of missionary duties or teach anyone at church. However, there is some home teaching I apply once a week. I gather with my family and some of their friends then share my testimony. Sometimes I ask questions to those I'm teaching. Always hoping they've found their own lives purposeful and at peace.
