Hi I'm Stanley

I am a pre-med student. I have a wife and 9 month old daughter. I love to fish, hunt, camp, hike, and bake. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Senior in college studying biology and hoping to get accepted to medical school this next year. I have been married just over a year and a half and we have a beautiful baby girl. My hobbies include fishing, camping, hunting, hiking, baking cakes and cookies, sports of all kinds, and board games. I spent two years in Washington D.C. serving with the LDS church.

Why I am a Mormon

i grew up in a home that was not very active in the LDS church. When we did attend church, it would only be my mother and I. I was baptized a couple months before my tenth birthday and have been going to church ever since. The feelings and whisperings of the Spirit of God is why I am a Mormon. I personally prayed to my Father in Heaven and asked what His will for me was. Even as a young boy I could feel His love. As I read and ponder the Book of Mormon and the Bible together, I feel a closeness with my Savior and it helps me to make proper life decisions. The love that God has shown to me is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I enjoy going to church each Sunday to learn about Christ with other members and hear their view point on the scriptures and words of Christ. I have served the past year and a half as a leader of the group of men in our ward. We would play sports together, instruct each other on how to be better husbands, fathers and sons, and watch out for the welfare of each other both spiritually and temporally. I try to live my faith by showing love towards my fellow man as Christ did when He lived on the earth. I try to learn about Jesus each day by reading the scriptures and praying for guidance.
