Hi I'm Cody

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm beginning a new employment in a new state for me and my family. Moving has been a big decision for my wife and I. We left behind a lot of comforts and friends. However, our new home has brought us new challenges that we are learning to overcome; together. Moving into a new place has helped us learn to rely on each other instead of calling our friend every time we needed support.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always tried to do whats right. Even with good intentions, temptations are still not easy to overcome. The gospel of Jesus Christ has given me strength to really overcome sin. It's made me a better father, and husband. That's why I'm a mormon. I want my family to know that I have felt the love of the Savior through His sacrifice and allowing me to be forgiven of my sins. Knowing this makes for a bright future.

How I live my faith

The church branch I attend is very small. It feels like a big family. We are all able to help one another and serve one another

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

We believe in the bible because it was written by the Prophets of old. Since the beggining, the Lord's people have always followed a prophet called by God to direct His children here on earth. We also believe that the Lord will continue to reveal many great and important things through His servants the prophets. Show more Show less

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

This is something that hits home close to my heart. Yes! A husband and wife can be together forever. The very center of this life is based upon the blessings of families. It is a privilege to have been born into a family and to now have my own. Being a part of a family is what keeps me moving forward with faith, hope, and love for the day that I can be reunited with my loved ones who have since gone. This can only happen by being united by a man of God here in this life. A man of God that has been given the priesthood to act in the name of God. Matthew 16:19 is a great scripture that helps us with this teaching. Show more Show less
