Hi I'm Kirsten

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Canada but have lived in the United States for quite some time. I love being a Mormon!

About Me

Oh, where to begin! I have so many things/hobbies I enjoy, and not enough time for all of them! I work full time, and try to play after work or on the weekends! Fitting it all in is quite difficult! I am a second degree black belt in TKD, I love to road and mountain bike, and train year round for simple little things like runs and triathlons. I enjoy living in Castle Rock and I love my ward and stake!

Why I am a Mormon

I started out Mormon, but had to learn and grow just like everyone! We are not born with testimonies, but have the ability to develop them and grow strong in faith! I don't think it would be any easier 'in the world' not being a Mormon. In fact, I think it would be a lot harder. I enjoy my church, and listening to the prophets and apostles. Who wouldn't want that? I enjoy studying the scriptures and learning of the love of our Savior and His great atonement for us. It is amazing and wonderful! There is nothing better in this world than having that knowledge!

How I live my faith

I got to church every week, and wouldn't consider anything different. There is no where better to be on the Sabbath. I have taught young children and youth. I enjoy going to Sunday School to learn and grow. No matter how many times I hear the same thing, it can never be enough! There is nothing better than having the Spirit teach me that something is true, and then having the burning feeling in my chest that gives me warmth and lets me know that we have a Savior and a Heavenly Father who love us and want us to be like them and live with them again.
