Hi I'm Brittanie

I'm a wife, I'm a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married for 6 years now and I am the mother to 4 children. Our first, Cora, was unfortunately stillborn 2 weeks before her due date. Erin is nearly 5, Patrick is 3, and Allison will be 1 in August. I love to scrapbook, as well as other crafts, especially when I get the chance to craft with friends, and spend quite a bit of my days playing with my children until my husband comes home from work. We especially like to take trips to the zoo and library. My children are my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a long family history in the church. I am a 7th-generation member. But when I was a teenager I got to the point when I had to decide if I really believed what my parents had taught me. I studied a lot, I prayed a lot, and when it came down to it, something whispered to me that it was true.

How I live my faith

I run the nursery at church (children 18 months-3 years), and while it can be very challenging at time, I love the sweet innocence and spirit the children bring. I am impressed weekly on how much they can love, and how much they love hearing about Jesus. Day-to-day, I do my best to be the type of person that Jesus would want me to be, and to see others the way he sees them. I'm not perfect by any means, but I try to be kind to those around me as much as I can.
