Hi I'm Sabrina

I grew up being a competitive gymnast. I am a full time nanny and I enjoy being active. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was a competitive gymnast for 12 years of my life and I still stay active in the sport! Although I do not compete anymore I am a coach and hope to become a judge as well. I have a lot of energy and I am passionate about life. Reading books, blogs, magazines, and news paper articles fill my attention daily. I enjoy making connections with people, learning and sharing experiences and becoming friends. I have been active in theater and music my whole life. My siblings and I can't be together for more than 20 minutes without turning up the volume and jamming out. I am an avid blogger and writer. Writing out my thoughts and studies enables me to see clearly, organize my thoughts and plan things out in advance.

Why I am a Mormon

Before July of 2012 I would have called my testimony common, the same basic thing that everyone had. Granted I did love the church and my Savior, I just didn't fully know why. I can now joyfully proclaim that I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it is true! I feel it so deep within me that I cannot be shaken. Last year, around this time, a young man I had been romantically involved with tragically died in a motorcycle accident. My life came to an immediate crossroads where I could either choose to move down the easy path of hurt, regret and anger. Or I could make the commitment to never give up the fight. To endure to the end and fulfill my plan of Happiness that my Father in Heaven had laid out for me. I chose before I even knew that a choice had been given to me. I chose long ago when I was baptized to always follow Him. I have never been one to give up because what lies before me is hard. I have been called to do hard things and that is what I chose. I chose and I still choose now to live my life for my Savior and my God. I follow the gospel doctrine because it will bring peace, joy, love, protection, happiness and a sense of purpose to myself and to my future family.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through action. I feel like if I am not actively being a part of the growth and betterment of the Kingdom of God then I am not using the life that He gave me to it's full advantage. In the LDS faith there is so much emphasis placed on the family, and for a good reason. Since I am yet to be married and rear my own children I am immensely blessed to have the opportunity to be a nanny to three wonderful children! Daily, they teach me and push me to become better. I also have the opportunity to serve in the LDS church by organizing events and carrying them out. Organization, and fueling excitement are some of the things that I do best. I am grateful to be able to host events where members can come to enjoy love, fellowship, laughter, and spiritual growth.
