Hi I'm Dave

I'm a husband, a medical student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a pretty lucky guy. I have been married to my beautiful wife for 4 years and have a great life. I love spending time with her and getting to know her better as we begin our lives together. I am also a 3rd year medical student and am loving learning about our amazing bodies and how to treat and care for the sick. I love to read, both for entertainment and for knowledge. I enjoy many sports, especially basketball, tennis, golf, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and wakeboarding. I also love to travel and spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon. My family has a long history in the church. Although I was raised in the church, that alone is not the reason I am still a member today. I have seen the blessings, the comfort, and the joy that the gospel brings into my life and the live's of others. I know it teaches true principles that help me to live a better, happier life.

How I live my faith

Service is very important to me. I believe it is the best way to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I work with the youth in my area, helping plan and organize weekly activities for them that help them to become better people and better members of society, and also have some fun along the way. I also volunteer at a free homeless shelter clinic, and have volunteered as a Spanish interpreter in a hospital. When I complete my training, I plan on going on medical missions to countries and areas that are in the greatest need of medical care.
