Hi I'm Kameran.

I'm a cosmetologist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm eighteen years old. I graduated from high school early and got married at age seventeen. I started cosmetology school in the middle of what was supposed to be my senior year. I love giving manicures, pedicures and facials. When I'm not at school I'm watching my husband play baseball. He plays on a semi pro baseball team and he also plays for the college that he is attending. I love watching him play and I also love going shooting, Facebooking, riding four wheelers and BIG lifted truck. I have bleached blonde hair and I love teasing really really big! I love spending time with my husband and my three beautiful little sisters.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon all my life and I am so glad that I was. My family and I got sealed together when I was in seventh grade. I had an amazing home life until I was sixteen. My parents got divorced and it was very devastating. We stopped attending church and became inactive. While my parents were going through their divorce, I was dating my husband. Neither of us went to church or had any plans on going back. His whole family is very active in the church and they all have such amazing families. After being around his family, we decided we wanted to start attending church again. His family was such an amazing example to us and I am so grateful for the love they showed toward us. After we started becoming active again, we decided we wanted to get married. We got married and we are so much happier now then we have ever been before. It isn't easy, but it's worth it. I love the feeling I have when I'm attending church, praying and/or reading my scriptures. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and I know that I am a daughter of god. I know that this gospel is true and I know that if you really open up your heart and mind to the gospel that you will know it also. The spirit has told me that this church is the only true church and I am so blessed to have it in my life. I know that the lord will answer whatever questions you have if you will get down on your knees and pray with all your might, mind and soul. I know that anyone can turn their life around, no matter what, and can repent of their sins. I love my Heavenly Father so much and all the members of my ward!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to all those that I come in contact with. I try my hardest to be the best and kindest person I can possibly be. I want others to feel of my love and spirit and know the love that I have for the gospel. I go to church and attend all my church meetings and I support all those who are teachers and leaders in the church. I'm not ashamed of my beliefs and I'l share them with anyone who wants to know about them.

What is faith?

To have faith is to “hope for things which are not seen, which are true” see Book of Mormon, Alma 3221 and Hebrews 111. Each day you act upon things you hope for, even before you see the end result. This is similar to faith. Faith in God is more than a theoretical belief in Him. To have faith in God is to trust Him, to have confidence in Him, and to be willing to act on your belief in Him. It is a principle of action and power. The Book of Mormon prophet Alma compared faith to a seed. If you plant a seed and nourish it, if it is a good seed it will grow and eventually bear fruit Alma 3228-43. It is the same with faith. If you are obedient to God’s commandments, study His word, and have a desire to believe in Christ, faith will grow inside of you. Show more Show less
