Hi I'm Lori

I am a student, mother and wife that loves to read and write. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have a passion for the family and feel blessed to have raised our four children with a supportive and loving husband. I completed my BA online after my kids were all in school, and was able to find a perfect fit to all of my areas of interest: a double minor in English and Family Studies and an emphasis in Communications. I love spending time with my family, biking with my husband, reading, and writing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon and have made a conscious decision to raise my own family in this faith. This gospel has given my life meaning and purpose as it has helped me to understand that I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. We each have an important role and purpose in this life and I am grateful for the direction that I feel as I live what our faith teaches.

How I live my faith

I have loved the different opportunities that I have had to serve in the church. I have been able to learn how to speak in front of large groups, teach the stories of the scriptures to children and worked with the youth as a leader and mentor. It has been very rewarding to serve and volunteer in these different capacities. Not only do I volunteer within the church but I also am actively involved with our community in the schools, homeowners associations and interacting with city officials. I feel strongly that the way that I live my life is a direct reflection on my faith and how that faith makes me the person that I am.
