Hi I'm Jan

I'm a Registered Nurse at Exempla St Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. I've delivered babies for 40 years and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to do counted cross stitch, and am starting to quilt... I like to see the end results. During spring, summer, and fall, I love to hike in Colorado. Our mountains are gorgous! I have three daughters who are all married...and now 3 grandsons. Grandchildren are the angels you see...

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ...each week when I attend church, I feel it is just for me. A talk, a hymn, a conversation, or a lesson will touch my heart. I feel that confirmation that my Heavenly Father loves me, and I am where I need to be. It helps me be a better person, and it makes my trials easier. I used to think that those tender mercies were coincidences...Now I can see God's plan in my life. The Priesthood Power has shown me miracles and increased my faith.

How I live my faith

Currently my calling at church is Primary President. I am over all the children in our ward who are 1 1/2 to 12 years old. I have 2 counselors, a secretary, a chorister, a pianist, and many teachers. We work together to instruct the children with lessons and music each Sunday. I also serve at the Denver Colorado Temple one day a week. The Temple is such a peaceful place! And as an RN working full time in Labor and Delivery for 40 years...the miracle of birth...something I experience almost daily. I love to help others most important day of their lives, where families are started.
