Hi I'm Bryan

I grew up in San Diego playing basketball, soccer, and surfing. I work as a Software Engineer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a big sports fan. I still play basketball and indoor soccer. Recently I have taken up running and I have completed four 1/2 marathons. When I was about 20 I served as a missionary in Venezuela and in Dallas, Texas. After serving a mission I married the love of my life and we have three amazing boys. I coach youth soccer and youth basketball teams in the community. I enjoy sharing my love of sports with the new generation. I studied computer science in college and I work as a software engineer.

Why I am a Mormon

I have read The Bible and The Book of Mormon many times and I have prayed to God to know the truth. I have felt in my heart the truth of these scriptures. I know that both of these books bring me closer to Jesus Christ when I read them and follow their teachings. Participating actively in the church helps me to remember the love of God for each one of his children on earth. Attending church provides chances for me to serve other people. As I have grown older I better understand that we have a Heavenly Father that loves each one of us and I want others to be able to understand that they have a Heavenly Father who loves them individually.

How I live my faith

I live my faith, by doing my best to be honest with myself and others everyday. I always try to smile and to think of everyone that I meet as a brother or sister. When thinking about people in this way it is easier to remember that everyone is going through their own trials in life and we are all trying to get by and learn as we go.
