Hi I'm Johnny

I am a goal setting and achieving master, I sing in the shower, I blog, I speak Japanese and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a simple person. I like kids and my family, VW buses, theater, Japanese and literature. I want to teach for a profession, learn for a lifetime and progress forever. I like to smile. Smiling and walks are good. I served as a church volunteer in Japan for two years. I think about that everyday. God is good.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in a God who is in the details of our lives. Who knows us personally. Who loves us and wants us to succeed. Who loves and believes in us. If that person were to exist. And, if he wanted all those things for us, then I would admit that would be the most important thing in the whole universe! That in all reality, at the end of the day it is the the only relationship that matters. Because I believe that I got on my knees, and asked if he was there... ... And he answered.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying. By nature and nurture I am a person seeking after truth. In every form. I live my religion by trying to continually seek. I fail a lot but that is okay as long as I get up. I don't believe in a God, who claims to be our spiritual father, and would seek our destruction afterword first mistake. Like a father would never yell at his child for falling down as it learns to walk. I live it by getting up, and trying to be who He, my Heavenly Father God, sees that I can be. Everyday.
