Hi I'm Taft

I'm a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in Tokyo, Japan.

About Me

I was born in Washington, but have lived almost my entire life in the state of Utah. I come from a happy family of seven. Before my mission, I spent a year at college, where I studied a wide variety of subjects including Film, French, Music, and Japanese. It has always been my dream to speak a large variety of languages, and now, as a missionary, I'm learning to speak Japanese. In the future, I hope to study Korean and Chinese.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the Church by two loving parents with firm testimonies of the gospel. I have grown up with Christ in my life always, and I am so grateful for the opportunites I have had as a result of that. However, as is important to all members of the church, I had to seek for myself the truth of the gospel. I know not only from what my parents have taught me, but also from what the Holy Ghost has taught me, that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I'm a missionary. Everything I do is because of my faith. I left my family, friends, work, and education to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the wonderful people of Japan.
