Hi I'm Curtis

I'm a husband and father of four children. I'm a CPA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and father of four children. I enjoy spending time with my wife and children whether playing sports or just hanging out.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a strong Mormon family in Mesa, Arizona. I always had a strong belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ, but it was not until after I turned 18 that I recognized that I had my own testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. After I graduated from high school, I went away to college. At that I time I thought I knew what I should do with my life. One night after a particularly difficult day, I decided that I would spend some time reading the scriptures. Later that night as I knelt to pray, I discussed my plans with my Heavenly Father. The answer to the prayer that I offered that night changed my plans. It was confirmed to me that I should continue living my life consistent with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try to live the principles taught by Jesus Christ every day by serving others. I am a volunteer with a charitable organization that services the poor in Mozambique. I also volunteer by providing service to my family and church. I know I am following the example of Christ when I serve others. I study the scriptures every day which include the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I do this to better understand my purpose here on earth and to help my faith grow, which helps me keep prospective in life. This also helps me be a better husband and father.
