Hi I'm Pat

I'm a wife and a mother of three. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happiest when I am spending time with my family...playing outdoors, traveling or going for long walks. I enjoy knitting, playing basketball with my kids, shopping with my daughter, fly-fishing with my hubby and talking on the phone with my mom and six sisters.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a family of ten kids with wonderful parents whose priority was to help us strive become an eternal family. My husband and I have this same desire for our own family and consider the opportunity to be together beyond this life one of the greatest blessings we could ever be given. I am a Mormon because I have received my own personal witness of the truthfulness of the gospel. I know that our Heavenly Father loves and has a plan for each of us and when we place our faith in Him and in our Savior we can reach our own potential and overcome our earthly trials.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by doing my best to endure the challenges I have been given in this life and to teach my children, to the best of my ability, to follow the example of their Savior and his teachings. I consider myself very blessed to have been given the opportunity to have my own children. I was born with a congenital heart defect that went undiagnosed until adulthood. This condition made having my own children very dangerous. I am grateful that the Lord provided us with the spiritual promptings, personal revelation and peace that allowed us to continue in faith to have children despite the inherent risks explained to us by my doctors. I consider motherhood my primary responsibility and am grateful that the Lord continues to provide the means and medical technology for me to receive the repairs on my heart as needed to allow me to continue in my role as a mother. I also feel very blessed with the opportunity to work with the youth in the church and am continually inspired by their strength of character and strong testimonies.
