Hi I'm Brent

I'm a baller, a husband, a father, and a student. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a recent college graduate getting ready to go to podiatry school. I work full time but I'm also a dedicated husband and father who enjoys spending quality time with his family. I love to play basketball, and most other sports. I also enjoy playing video games, watching movies, and some TV shows, reading good books, fishing, and the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I want to live with my family forever. I believe that God has a plan for all of his children so that they can return to live with Him again. I truly believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has restored His church once more and that it is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I believe that the power and authority from God to enable the family to live together in eternal happiness resides solely with Christ's church. I love my family so much that I cannot imagine life without them. My sincerest hope and desire is that I might one day be able to return with my family to live in God's presence forever. That is my faith and my belief. It is what keeps me going when things get tough, what comforts me when the world seems to crash in on all sides, it is the reason I exist-to be happy!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to follow the example of Jesus Christ. While I know that I will not ever reach perfection in this life, I hold that as my goal. I try to be honest in my dealings with others. I try to keep myself clean, both inside and out-which for me means not putting anything into my body that will do me harm. I don't watch certain movies or TV programs because they are not consistent with my values. I go to church every sunday for 3 hours where I have the opportunity to renew my dedication to following Jesus' example. I volunteer to give service, and always look for ways to help those around me who may be struggling. In short, I live my faith by trying to be the best person I can be.
