Hi I'm Kayle

I grew up in a small town in Arizona. I coached football in an Arizona high school for 30 years and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father and a husband. I have 5 wonderful children and 13 beautiful grandchildren. I am a cancer survivor. I am a retired math teacher/football coach having taught 30 years at a local High School. After retirement I changed careers and worked for a civil engineering and land surveying firm. I was the office manager and accounts receivable person. I love working and meeting new people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Mormon church because I love Jesus Christ and have felt his hand directing my life. I am a life long member of the church and I love serving God's children. It has been a wonderful opportunity to coach and teach wonderful young people. I know that Jesus Christ's true church is lead by a living prophet. His name is Thomas S. Monson. He receives revelation for the entire world so we know what God wants us to do. I know God speaks to his prophet today just like in the olden days of Moses and Abraham and many others. I love the Book of Mormon and the Bible because they both testify of Jesus Christ and his life and mission. They contain the words of God's dealings with the prophets on the earth and also Christ's visit to the Jews and the Nephites (people in America). We can come closer to God by reading these two books of scripture. I love God's Plan of Happiness for Families. The plan allows us to be with God and each of our family members if we learn to keep the commandments and choose the right.

How I live my faith

The Gospel of Jesus Christ helps me to serve others in my area by allowing me to work with young men in the scouting program. I love the Boy Scouts of America and the program that they have to help build young men into leaders. I am glad the Mormon church supports the Boy Scouts of America. I also enjoy working with church leaders and civic leaders on community service projects. I enjoy doing humanitarian aid canning at the Local LDS Cannery. It is always fun to see how your work benefits those who are less fortunate than yourself. The feelings that you have inside are always so great. All of these areas of service allow me to see how the Lord uses us to help other people. Service begins with me.
