Hi I'm Amber

I am a southern girl and teach at-risk-youth. I love warm weather, cream cheese, and laughing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am one of those habitually busy people. Teaching middle school, enrolled in grad school, church, dating, maintaining relationships, the occasional nap. You name it. I try to cram it in. I am happy this way! After teaching entertaining, yet hormonal and slightly awkward fourteen-year-olds for four years, I have decided that I want to be surrounded by this adolescent age group permanently. I aspire to be a principal. Outside of school and, oh yeah, school, I love being surrounded by friends, playing or watching sports, and just being a happy individual!

Why I am a Mormon

I love what I belief. As I live to be a witness of Jesus Christ, I know that I am a better person. I am happy when I do what is right. I enjoy going to church and learning about my Savior. I know that he is aware of me personally and individually. He knows my pains. He has felt my sorrows. He can succor me in times of need like no one else can. He is my Redeemer. He is my friend. I will forever honor Him. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and I am so grateful to say, "I am a Mormon."

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily by being an example of good in the world. I love to show my students what values matter. I celebrate virtue, integrity, and honesty. I love to be surrounded by good. I love making the world better. I love optimism and certainly have hope for the future.
