Hi I'm ROB

Im from the far north, North Island New Zealand. I am of Maori descent and honored to be a mormon.

About Me

I am married with four great sons. I love being a husband and a father and enjoy the challenges and happiness that come with these roles. I have enjoyed all sports throughout my life: Rugby, League, Touch etc. I am an outdoors person who enjoys riding motorbikes, hunting, fishing and camping and now sharing these things with my sons.

Why I am a Mormon

I was converted to the church at the age of 24 as my wife and I were about to have our first child together and I needed a change from the life I was living as I knew it wasnt the life I wanted for my children. I have been a member now for 7 years and have had my fair share of trials and through these trials I have grown stronger and have been blessed so many times I have lost count. I know that Heavenly Father truly loves me and has chosen my path that I am walking and most importantly that he is walking with me. I have a testimony of this church that is continuing to grow daily. Heavenly father has answered all my prayers and blessed me with opportunities to excell in all walks of life. I am always meeting members who have similar stories to my own and who are strong in the faith. I look at the older members of the church and how they have raised their families in the gospel and in doing so have been blessed abundantly. I have been sealed in the temple to my wife and children and know I will spend eternity with them.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be involved in all branch activities and by giving service to others. I attend all my church meetings. I associate with the members of my branch as much as possible as we have the same values and beliefs and continue to help each other to grow. I pray daily on my own and with my family.
