Hi I'm Jim

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I'm Jim, I also am a convert to the Church. Being raised a Catholic with parents who were very opposed to the Church I finally let the spirit guide me in my decision to become a Mormon. My wife was a Mormon and was very patient and loving with me while I was making up my mind. It is the best thing hat has every happened in my life, besides my wife and two children. I found that roadblocks and hurdles did not stop me from making the best decision in my life. I was a police officer and took a lot of grief from many of my peers when I joined the Church. I am proud to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint.

Why I am a Mormon

I knew there was something missing in my life. I thought I had everything but I eventually knew that the Church was true. I became closer to my Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ. That empty feeling is gone and has been replaced with the Holy Spirit. The Church is my salvation, knowing that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins. And if I follow the commandments I will return to be with my Heavenly Father. I also know that my family can be together forever even for eternity. The truthfulness of the gospel that is in my life. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I hold the priesthood which was restored to the earth. It is very important in my life. Part of my responsibilities being a priesthood holder is to visit families in my ward. I have the opportunity to teach other members and provide blessings in their lives. Living a respectful, trustworthy life. Integrity is very important to me. I am an active instructor for the C.E.R.T. (Citizens Emergency Response Team) helping others to know what to do in the event of an disaster. I enjoy reaching out and assisting others.
