Hi I'm Tynel

I'm a Wife, a Mom, a Group Fitness Instructor. I have lived all over the United States. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of four fantastic kids and the wife of a wonderful man. This has been and always will be my number one priority. I grew up dancing (ballet, tap, & jazz) and went on to teach dance for 8 years. I have been teaching Group Fitness classes since I graduated high school. My husband and I got married in our early twenties and had many hard times as he worked full time and went to college full time. We made a choice to have me stay at home to raise our children and have sacrificed much to do this. We have lived on both coasts and as far north and south as you can go in the United States. Along the way, we have met wonderful people and learned so much from them.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS home, but began questioning my faith in my teenage years. I wasn't sure I believed in the church and wasn't even sure if I believed in God. When I was fourteen, I knew I needed to decide for myself- even if that meant turning away from the things my parents had taught me. I went out into the forest near my home and poured out my heart to Heavenly Father in one final attempt to know for myself. At that moment, I felt the love of the Lord wash over me. I knew that there was a God, that he hears and answers our prayers, and that he knew me personally! This was the beginning of my belief. I studied the teachings of the Mormon church and many other faiths. I read the Book of Mormon and knew it was the word of God. As I continue to practice my religion, my faith and testimony continues to grow. I know that the Savior lives and that he restored the fullness of the Gospel to the earth. I know that he knows each one of his children and he desires to bless us.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday with my family. We sit together and worship together during sacrament meeting (which is our main service), then I go teach the 3 year olds for two hours- we call it Primary. They are the most hilarious group of kids who are humble and teachable. I learn so much from them each week. I also serve as the Cubmaster for our Cub Scout Pack- another great opportunity to learn from other scout leaders and the boys. By serving in my church community, my faith is strengthened and I have great opportunities to grow!
