Hi I'm Mike

I’m a Husband, Father, Son & Brother, I’m a Financial Professional, Handyman, Artist, Athlete & Cook. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spend the majority of my time at work and with my family. I am a Business Unit Controller for a Large Financial Services Company. I try to balance the demands of life and the multiple conflicting priories that come with working for a large corporation by stepping back to see the big picture. I see life as moments of joys and challenges that help form who I am. I enjoy water and snow skiing, mountain biking and cooking. I find projects around the house and keeping up on yard work as my stress relief (serenity now). Activities and experiences that have been most important to me have been being married to my best friend, living and going to school in Mexico and graduating with a Masters of Business Administration. I’m a planner and look forward to the future, setting goals and milestones for myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I love to search out and live by truth and correct principles. The accountant in me loves order and the gospel of Christ as found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is precise. It makes me feel like all the pieces of my life fall into place, but not just from the logical side of things, it touches my heart. It makes me feel empowered. I have put gospel principles to the test, incorporating them into what I do each day and feel that God really does know me. I’m a Mormon because I know that the principles and ordinances of this church will allow me to return to my Father in Heaven with everyone I love around me.

How I live my faith

I try to serve and help others by being a friend and someone to count on. I’ve been able to do this by lending a hand when I see a need, visiting others I know are down and calling someone when I get the thought that they might need it. I’ve been able to help others by teaching a lesson at church, helping plan and carryout social activities and getting to know new people who move into our area.
