Hi I'm Renee

I am a Mother, a Wife, a Daughter and a Sister and most definately a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently in my third year of studying my Bachelor of Education and well on my path to become a Middle School Teacher. As a mother of two and a wife I like spending quality time with my family which can be my immediate of 4 or as many 30 when the in laws get together. I like swimming and am trying to live a more active lifestyle. I was born in NZ and was raised in various parts of the world till I moved to Australia as a teenager and have never left.

Why I am a Mormon

Being raised in the church I often took the primary/youth programs and benefits of what comes with the lifestyle of the church for granted. It wasn't until as an adult I developed a testimony of my own and why I am a Mormon still. Growing up in different parts of the world there were times when the gospel was not established in areas but in our home it still was strong and the truth of the gospel has never changed. I continue to follow the teachings of the gospel as I see the benefits for my family as I teach my children to be Christ like and value the family as an eternal unit. Families can be together forever and through the atonement of Christ all mankind may be saved. It is through the saviour and the teachings of the gospel that have made my journey to exaltation more in reach. I know that there is no challenge I can't overcome and know that Jesus and Heavenly Father will always be there for me. I know that through our living day prophets the gospel provides modern day revelation to assist us daily. I am a Mormon and have a testimony that this church is true and that it is through the Holy Ghost that we all receive this confirmation for ourselves. Even being born a member there was a time when I had to know for myself and through prayer and the spirit I found out for myself just as you can.

How I live my faith

As a active member in my ward I try to visit with sisters and share a spiritual message with them as we build a friendship at least once a month as part of the church's visiting teaching program. I also recently assisted in Uni-Reach at my local university trying to encourage more youth to consider options of further education and the benefits of education in their lives.
