Hi I'm Anthony

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a US Air Force veteran. I am a re-entry college student and I major in US History. I am a 49er fan. I am a first generation Filipino-American.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Church embodies fundamental values that are consistent with my own. I was raised as a non-member with a rudimentary knowledge of Christ. I knew that Christ was real, but I knew little of what he wanted of me. Before being baptized, I lived in a dark fog, groping towards answers, yet doubting that I would ever find them. The words of our Father in Heaven continually lift the fog from my life and every day I grow stronger in my heart and more resolute in my duty. I am here to do His will and I am a Mormon because I want to give Him the best that I have to offer.

How I live my faith

If I can help you, I will. I love home teachings and I love speaking about the Gospel with anyone else who is willing. I know very little, yet I am so eager to learn all that lies in the Scriptures. I try to set positive examples for all those around me, instead of pointing out the transgressions of others. It is not my place to say what is right or wrong, what is true or false. I can only say that the Gospel works for me.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Through his extraordinary piety, Joseph Smith received personal revelation from the Lord to restore the fullness of the Gospel. He restored the Church that was established during Christ's time and ended a centuries-long Apostasy. Joseph Smith gave his life so that we could come to Christ today. He was a prophet, a missionary, and a saint. Show more Show less
