Hi I'm Rachelann

I live in "Paradise". I love to laugh and have fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

People who know me will say that I laugh and joke, alot :). I love talking to new people and making new friends. I don't know if that counts as a hobby but I do love it! It's really funnny that more then one person has said that the first time they met me we had a 45 minute conversation. I love it! Whenever I am not chatting up a storm I like to play and watch sports. Volleyball is my favorite to play but football is my favorite to watch. I went to college for a bit and took what was supposed to be a small break =/. I am saving up to go back to school and finish, with honor(s). I just have to figure out what I want to do with my life, thats all. All I know is that loving what I do and having as much fun as possible is an absolute must! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am blessed to have been raised in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I was baptized at 8 years old and attended church regularly while I lived at home. However, it wasn't until I left home to go to college that I developed a true testimony of this Gospel. When I left home I felt like the changes were never ending and I struggled to grasp onto anything to keep me grounded. The only true peace I felt came from the church. I know that change is constant and mistakes are inevitable but I am most grateful for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that is constant in my life. This Gospel is my anchor. In the plain and simple truths of this Gospel most of my questions about my life have been answered. Every other question has required a little more effort but I am confident when I say that they have been answered through the teachings of this Church. I know God lives. I know he loves me. I know he listens and he will answer when I pray. I know his son Jesus Christ is my Redeemer and that he died for me that I may live eternally with my Father in heaven. I know that anyone searching for complete truth will find it in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

In the church I work closely in a commitee to plan events for the young (18-31) single (unmarried) adults living in our area. We plan social and spiritual events for both men and women and sometimes just for the women. We hold bi-weekly meetings in order to plan. Specifically I have been assigned to plan each Sunday meeting for the women. I also have been assigned a sister as a companion and together we have 5 ladies that we are to visit each month in order check on both their spiritual and temporal needs. I am also responsible for making sure their needs are fufilled. Every other week that we are not planning events we go to visit different young women to also see where we can help and to keep everyone updated on upcoming events. All in all I live my faith by service. Each day is a constant battle for success and my success is measured in the upliftment of others.
