Hi I'm Lars

I now live in Kingwood Texas after 55+ years in Mesa AZ. I am a husband, father and grandfather. I love to serve. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I would consider myself a happy person. I'm married, and we have had five beautiful children; each has been sealed to their eternal companion and have blessed us with almost 18 grandchildren. I have been in marketing/sales management all my life. I love spending time with my children and grandchildren. Families are the best!

Why I am a Mormon

I am one of "those" that was born into a family that are all are active members in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It wasn't until my teenage year that I gained for myself a personal understanding of the significance of this event. I have learned through prayer and personal revelation that within this Church all of the saving ordinances can be performed that help me return to my Heavenly Father. I love the values that teach regarding of families - because families are eternal and will last beyond the grave. I love the values instilled in my own children and grandchildren and their love for the Lord and the sincere desire they have to serve and help others. I have built a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. I know He went into Gethsemane and allowed himself to be crucified to fulfill all that The Father asked of Him and specifically for me. Why am I a Mormon; because all of the principles, doctrines and complete restoration which are undeniably true.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is a part of my everyday life. It begins with my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the very reason that He put His gospel back on the earth once again. He has fully restored His gospel, His priesthood and provided a greater understanding of how we can apply the Atonement of Jesus Christ in our lives; lifting us from the burden of sin. My daily life is founded on the simple act of serving others and trying to be an instrument in the hands of the Lord. As a youth, I was blessed with great men who were examples on how to live a Christ-centered life. My father and grandfathers set and example of serving others. They served as elders quorum presidents, bishops, stake presidents, mission presidents and most importantly as righteous fathers. There were many amazing men and women who took the time to teach me and help me recognize the eternal heritage all mankind have been blessed with. Serving others brings me closer to Christ. Servicing others make me forget all the negative influences that try to drag me down. Serving others has become a part of my every-day life. Serving others brings me joy! I believe service is best done in simple and small acts; acts that require no names; only perhaps something along the lines of "donor unknown" or "anonymous."

Are Mormons Christians?

Lars
I know that Jesus Christ stands at the head of this, his restored gospel. We worship in his sacred name. We know that we can only return to live with our Heavenly Father because of the sacrifice He made for you and for me. The very name of The Church bears his sacred name. Show more Show less
