Hi I'm Robert

I'm a husband, father, wake boarder, emergency medicine physician, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of 5 children. I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids. We like wake boarding, water skiing, cheering for the Suns and Diamondbacks, and game nights. Most of all, we enjoy being together as a family. We are each others biggest fans. I served in the United States Air Force as a flight surgeon for several years. Now I work as an emergency physician in Arizona. I love working as an "ER Doc." I like helping people in their time of true need. I feel that I can really touch the hearts and lives of my patients as we work together through their time of crisis.

Why I am a Mormon

My conversion to Mormonism (the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ) was not the result of a single event, but the cumulative effect of thousands of smaller events in my life. As I read and pondered the scriptures, including the Book of Mormon-Another Testament of Jesus Christ, I felt in my heart the love of the Lord, and His role as Savior and Redeemer. I felt the spiritual healing of the great Physician in my personal life. As I try to apply His teachings in my life and develop Christlike characteristics in my life, the gospel becomes "written not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of (my) heart." 2 Corinthians 3:3

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the local lay (unpaid) spiritual leader of several congregations in Gilbert, AZ. I enjoy working with others as we come unto Christ. My greatest joy in serving in the church is watching the blessings of the Gospel change the hearts of individuals and families.
