Hi I'm Brandon

I have Cysitc Fibrosis, I am attending BYU Idaho, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play soccer. I have a good sized family, and I love to spend time with them. I like to have fun. I recently returned home from my mission to Tucson, Arizona, and I learned so much. I took running start during high school so I have my Associates degree. It was one of the more challenging things in my life, but I did well. I have loving family and friends that support me in the decisions I make, and it brings me great comfort to know of the love they have for me. While serving as a missioanry I learned so much more about the gospel and how to share it. I also learned so much about myself and what I want in life. The most important part about sharing the gospel, is that in order to be effective, it has to come naturally. As you talk with friends and family about your everyday life, the gospel will be brought up in some way, and it starts to flow like a normal conversation would. Succuss doesn't come when someone accepts an offer to listen to the missionary lessons. Rather, success comes as we invite people to listen to the message of the gospel. Rejection is a normal part of life, but as friends accept our invitations, our testimony grows and our faith is strengthened as we help others gain a testimony and come closer to Jesus Christ. After returning home from my mission, I have started working multiple jobs in order to save money to go to school. As I am working a lot, my life has become extremely busy, but I know that it is important to stay strong in the Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but I was not baptized until I was almost 13. There was a time in my life when I didn't like going to church, so I decided to change my paradigm and focus on how church can improve my life. Since then, it helped me to decided to serve a mission and help others come closer to Heavenly Father. It has been one of the best decisions of my life up to this point. I have made plenty of mistakes in my life, but they have made me who I am today and they have made me stronger in my faith. They have helped me to realize that this is the true church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

Being busy makes it hard to stay on top of essential things. As I put the church first, and focus on what is really important to me in life, it helps me to always remember to do those things that help me learn and grow spiritually. As we prioritze our lives, we will be able to come closer to Heavenly Father. I know that this church is true, and I know that through reading the Book of Mormon and sincere prayer, you can receive an answer to your prayers. I know that this church has blessed my life up to this point, and will continue to bless my life and the life of those I come in contact with. I know that the Book of Mormon is ture, and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and that Thomas S. Monson is our prophet on the earth today.
