Hi I'm Jackie Randolph

I grew up in Nebraska. I'm a nursing student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a nursing student and I long to be a nurse for the redcross one day. I joined the church when I was 14. I was introduced to the church for the first time by the missionaries knocking on my door. I love to sing and music in general. I'm a huge basketball fan!

Why I am a Mormon

When the missionaries first came to my door I thought they were dictionary salesmen! But I completly trusted them and just knew they were men of God. It went by very fast but I knew with all my heart that this was what I needed to do. This gospel has saved my life. It has brought people into my life who I can't ever imagine them not being in it. Which this so important to me because I grew up in a very dysfunctional family and it was very hard for me sometimes but Because of this gospel I now have comfort knowing that I am a child of God and that I am loved. It brings me to tears to think that I will one day share this message with my children. The message of love, joy and families can be together forever. And my family will be so different then the one I was raised in. I will break the cycle of abuse and addiction that runs so deaply through generations. I always had a intuition that told me when I looked at my family that this is not the way its suppose to be and I will not find joy in these things. And the gospel confirmed that for me. I have a tremendous amount of hope I would never find anywhere else. Regardless of how I grew up I can make my life better with the knowledge of the atonement and his gospel.

How I live my faith

I try to always have a prayer in my heart. Continuously study the word of God. In fact I mark my calendar to say my prayers and read my scrpitures everyday. I'm always willing to be taught and receive knowlege from God.
